him/her self and then penalizes him/her self by the rules given for that infraction.
In fact, more than one golfer (even in the Masters) has forfeited the title due to signing a golf score card that wasn’t added up correctly and acknowledged it..or didn’t place the ball in the exact original spot while cleaning or looking at it.
What say you?
Oh, Tee should have given that TD back since he did foul the defender, imho.

went the other way, too. Do they get awarded a TD when an uncalled PI prevents them from catching it?
I hate instant replay. When they showed the play in real time, did you see a penalty? Tell the truth.

Rickie Fowler called a penalty on himself Thursday and ended up he would have needed that 1 shot to make the cut. For those that do not follow golf if you do not make the cut you do not play on the weekend hence you make no money.

As far as I know, every other sport is about getting away with all you can. If it's not called then it's not a penalty. This is what makes golf unique.

Several years ago while we were having extensive renovations done on our house in Atlanta, all my jewelry was stolen except a gold cross. (I guess they didn't mind pi$$ing me off but didn't want to mess with Jesus.) My ring looked exactly like the one in your picture. It even had the same number on the front. I would like it back.

It is true that golf is the only sport where players call a penalty on themselves ,but in golf you are not gaining an advantage against another player so the only player who is affected is that player. In fact you are reducing your chances of winning that event as you are penalized a stroke.
So no Tee-should not have given the TD back because there was probably another penalty at some point in that game that was /wasn't called that could have affected the outcome of the game.

Same defender nearly removed Tee's undershirt (start to say Tee shirt but that was too on the nose) on a play at the goal line in the first half so it's an eye for an eye in my opinion.

lie - just as long as you don't get caught. And even then, it's still mostly OK.
Notice a basketball player "lying" by pointing his team's way, even when he knows the ball went off him.
The funny thing is: If a ref called it for TeamA and a TeamB player raised his hand and said "No, I touched it last" - the ref would get mad because the TeamB player was "showing him up".
