Mar 11, 2014, 4:35 PM

I just dont understand why you dont make the whole plane out of black box material if it always survives the crash

Putin has it.China will attack Russia.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think that is a distinct possibility

Mar 11, 2014, 5:12 PM

The plane was hijacked, the transponders were deactivated, the pilots were instructed to fly at a very low altitude in order to avoid radar contact, and the passengers were forced to surrender all of their valuables including cell phones.

With all of the technology available today, planes just don't disappear without a trace.

That theory makes about as much sense as the "it just disappeared" theory.

Re: I think that is a distinct possibility

certainly as plausible as anything else we've heard. I do know once something goes down in an ocean it is like finding a needle in a haystack even if you know where it went down

Re: I think that is a distinct possibility

Mar 11, 2014, 6:38 PM

Even if the plane went down, wouldn't there be
luggage floating on top? They have boat's and
plane's all over the area.Even a wing would probably
be floating.

Re: Re: I think that is a distinct possibility

Mar 11, 2014, 8:35 PM

They said that seats and many other parts of the plan would . The tail section is made of lighter weight material and should float . But I also heard this plane had a wing knocked off a few years ago while taxiing down runway .

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Thats the funny thing, airplanes are designed

Mar 11, 2014, 11:36 PM [ in reply to Re: I think that is a distinct possibility ]

with safety devices to try to help rescue attempts, and the ultra lightweight composites on the plane would have floated for a good while.

Plus some of the inflation devices would have activated, and when they are in water the floatation devices have neon green ink that spreads into the water for several meters, usually it glows in the dark as well.
If that plane went down over the water surely they would have found debris or emergency floats.

Re: Did they move the Bermuda Triangle?

NO, NO, it was Steve Spurious and Clowney traveling on stolen passports. Threatened the pilots with two hours of old Gator films and three hundred replays of "The Hit". Pilots gave in and flew to Thailand where old men can shed their shirts and drink to oblivion. Clowney thinks he is at the Asian combines (Spurious told him Asian concubines). Other passengers wondering around Bang ####.

That plane disappeared with SEC speed

Mar 11, 2014, 5:16 PM

I am quite anxious to see just what happened but until then we can only speculate. It is very bizarre that they disappeared without any distress signal. It must've been aliens. :)

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Interesting news regarding this story just now

Mar 11, 2014, 5:29 PM

The families of those on board say their loved ones cell phones continue to ring. If it went to voicemail, I'm assuming the plane and everything in it would've been destroyed. Right? Or is this a sign that they might still be alive somewhere. I'll hang up and listen.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The Chinese government tracked the phones

Mar 11, 2014, 11:42 PM

of the passengers and they also traced the calls the families made to their lost relatives. So far, China has confirmed (and produced documented evidence) that the families phone calls did connect to the missing peoples phones although there was no communication from the other end. Also many of the missing passangers are still showing up as "Online via Mobile" on social media sites like Facebook and twitter, which wouldn't be possible if the phones were destroyed.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

^^^ Interesting point. Consider this too...

Mar 12, 2014, 12:48 AM

As I mentioned earlier, had the plane been "destroyed" tragically in any form wouldn't it also nulify the ability of any cell phone, presuming some cacatastrophic destruction? Right. And as far as any info from China... well, I'd trust STS before them, IMO.

However this incident happened @ 1:30 AM EST Saturday night. Is that right? But my point is wouldn't most phones have lost battery life, with the incident occurring several days ago. Perhaps not but my phone would've.

Furthermore, if you've got a phone "receiving" a signal couldn't you triangulate the recipients coordinates, if that information is correct? I'll hang up and listen.....
