On one hand BB isn't out there playing
On the other hand, it's his job to bring the best talent to Clemson.
Who's at fault here? Thoughts?

Well do you think BB did not recruit others. Come on. Don't be dumb. Clemson has gotten the kids who it can get. Players have chosen to leave or chosen to sign elsewhere.
Recruiting is a two way street. Clemson sells it street and the recruits choose the street to travel.
So what has Clemson had to sell as enticing for a recruit?
Come on step up and talk your expertise about how recruits would follow you to Clemson.

And a program that had made three straight NCAA tournaments, they had also won more ACC during those three years than anyone but Duke and Carolina!!!! What has he done with it? He's burned it to the ground in six years.
The state of South Carolina had four 4 star basketball players this year which is rare and he got zero!!!! Only one made an official visit! They committed to VCU, UNC, South Carolina, and Yale.
You defend him all you like, but he doesn't believe he can recruit to Clemson and if you listen to him talk it's obvious.

BB is a mid level coach and that is all.
Can't recruit and can't motivate.
For all the BB is a great X and O coach Pumpers, please tell me one game where his X and O greatness won a game we should not have won.

his first season than OP would have. That said, its absolutely his fault right now. The talent level has steadily eroded during his tenure and transfers are not an excuse - those are largely on him too. We're starting to look like a Larry Shyatt team in terms of talent.

What makes you think OP wouldn't have made it just as far or farther with a team recruited and coached to play in his system?

No No he's right. I'm not a basketball guy. When I got hired at my current job I was asked to do football and baseball. The boss asked me if I could coach basketball. I told him I could but he didn't want me to. Needless to say, I'm not allowed anywhere near basketball unless I'm 1. watching or 2. driving the bus.
