I think that was one of 4 or 5 places they had never been.
So this is likely a 'strike while the iron is hot' situation...
But in a vacuum yeah, you would think they would pick FSU/Miami.

Stop! Last week they chose Penn State-Oregon over Bama-UGA. Apparently many in the SEC weren't happy about that since The B1G is FOX while the SEC is exclusive to ESPN. That kinda kills the bias theory.
Vandy and Bama are hot right now. FSU just lost to an ACC cupcake!

Exactly. It's 2 games today that had a chance for GameDay. Vandy might actually have a chance at taking down the mighty elephant... doubtful, but possible.
Vandy doesn't have to hard a schedule after Bama. So Vandy could knock Bama out of the playoff discussions and put themselves into it. Quite the storyline.

i always laugh when they say other wise. you dont invest the money they have into a conference then favor them at every turn only to say "no we arent bias towards them"
