The fact we beat VT by 3 Td's in our worst offensive game of the year makes me feel pretty solid about our chances of being legit.

Doesn't matter...I'm glad to see improvement. Even though the ACC is weak, we are winning games that we used to lose.*knock on wood*

BUT, with that said, we're taking care of business, which is something we haven't been known for. That, to me, is very encouraging.

I don't think we can answer that now. However if we go 11-1 with a win over SCU, it is safe to say we are legit (even with an overall weak schedule).
Like another poster said, I am just happy we haven't "pulled a clemson" so far this year.

I'd love to think we are legit. In time I believe that question will no longer be a question. This year we know we aren't playing for the title and probably not playing for the conference unless something happens with FSU. We need to continue to buil on what we currently have. If we can keep Daniels, O'Daniel, Nkemdiche, Pagano, Kamara, Boulware, Rogers, , etc and possibly pick up a stud CB and Adams, I don't believe we will even wonder if we are legit. I promise you the groundwork is laid. Dabo has this ship sailing in the right direction. He has two of the best coordinators around. BV is the man to right the defense. The recruiting is awesome. 2013 will be awesome.

Are we the same caliber of team as Alabama, LSU, Florida, Oregon, KState, etc...no.
Are we a legit top 15 or so team? I think so.
Bottom line is that with our offense we have a chance to win any game by out-scoring our opponent. Not sure we'd be able to put up 40+ points against a Bama/LSU/Scar defense though. We still lack the depth that elite teams have as well.
Defense is another story. Still a work in progress. BV ain't the problem. We have a nonexistent pass rush and that won't get it done vs elite teams. Secondary and LB core don't pass the eye test to me. Improvement over the last few weeks is encouraging.
The ACC is as bad as ever. We should win every remaining game outside of Scar. Need to see a few more games but they are looking pretty tough if they play mistake free. Hopefully being @ home will give us an edge.
