Good Lord stop knocking a good man down!!! I have never seen so many sharks swimming around..He is a great man and a wonderful person most every player and family that is around him are better for it.. The finebaums #### fans and haters need to take a hike… He will right the ship… How do we know the mafia hasn’t gotten to some of our players guess it’s easy to guess which ones!! No way Dabo would know just as NBA didn’t know!! How bout contributing and identifying names of possible porthole players that fit…instead of ruining a great Man ..team..and school…. I have been at Clemson for many many years and he is still the best we ever had…i spend and give a lot of money and have 12 Clemson graduates in my family….If you want to ruin a beautiful saturday for everyone win/lose go somewhere else. He is still the best there is and yes i’m local with businesses in Clemson so yall contribute to his success not his demise!! enough said I Love Clemson and always will!!!

Dabo has had only 1 losing season at Clemson and that was years ago only because we lost the Meineke bowl. He won the ACC last season and went to the playoffs. Everyone on here against Dabo are morons.

We made the playoffs last year because we play in the absolute joke of a conference that is the ACC. This isn’t about one season, hiring his unqualified buddies has taken us from national championship games to bowl-less in 5 seasons

“ We made the playoffs last year because we play in the absolute joke of a conference that is the ACC.”
—- This is my biggest issue when Dabo spits out all these stats. The ACC is the short bus of southeast football. There wouldn’t be any titles since 2019 if not for playing in the inferior conference.
Clemson is in turmoil playing SMU and Duke. USCe’s last four games have been LSU, Oklahoma, Bama, Ole Miss, and next is Texas A&M. Now that’s a gauntlet.
Dabo is the fourth highest paid HC. Riley is the third highest paid OC. Allen is the seventh highest paid DC. These numbers have been consistent (even higher) for many years now. But Clemson hasn’t finished even in the top ten since 2020 in spite of an ACC schedule.
When you have a top five staff (money wise) and haven’t finished in the top ten in five years and won’t even be in the Top 25 this year, that’s valid cause for criticism.

17 years of winning, 4 natty appearances, 2 nattys, multiple trophies and conference championships as late as last season and a program of total integrity. And people won't give Dabo a bye for one season that is no even over yet. What is wrong with some of you?

Different times, bub. When Dabo came in, he was just the injection that the program needed. Maybe one of the best hiring chances taken of all time. But, the decline in the modern era and the absolute disaster this season naturally makes a lot of people doubt if he’s able to do it again. He’s essentially selling the same message, but now it rings hollow. Right now we’re closer to the Hootie Ingram and Red Parker eras than we are competing for championships again.

I am praying for Dabo
Nov 3, 2025, 11:17 AM
|
|
Seeing Dabo scold the DB unit after blown coverage left me with a few thoughts.
1. The DBs definitely made a huge mistake and needed to be called out. 2. Dabo, uncharacteristically, yelled (and perhaps cussed) at the players and coaches. 3. I liked Dabo's passion, but the manner in which he displayed it was not typical of the Dabo I know and love. The stress of losing so many close games may have overcome him.
Dabo is in a bad spot as the leader of Clemson football. I am praying for Dabo to focus on his core values and find ways to right this ship. I do not want Dabo to leave Clemson. It is time to rally around Clemson and Dabo. I am praying for God to show Dabo give Dabo the wisdom and the passion to right the ship.

The 5 previous season include 2 playoffs and finishing ranked all 5 years. There is only one other stretch in Clemson history where we finished 5 consecutive seasons ranked that weren’t under Dabo. Trying to lump this season together with those to prove some pattern so you can call for Dabo’s firing makes you a literal ######.

None of those other stretches had the resources or comparative salary levels this stretch has had, and the more troubling issue has been the downward trajectory overall culminating with this dumpster fire of a season.
The only reason it hasn’t been worse the previous seasons is our joke of a conference and lack of competition

Another garbage take. Our resources in 2025 aren’t relative to other points in our history. They’re relative to the programs we’re competing with now. We were one of the deepest pocketed teams in the country in the 1980s. IPTAY was a ground breaking program when introduced. Our current revenue, expenditure, and program valuation all places in the area of 16th/17th in the country. We’re not even first in the ACC. And our media contracts are making the divide with SEC and Big10 schools bigger every year.

Another moran who can't count. It's been 5 bad seasons in a row. Dabo has refused to use all the tools in the toolbox and has blamed fans on countless occasions for his errors. He has enriched dozens of his buddies who turn out to be yes men because they know they shouldn't have been hired in the first place. I don't think we see the same man.

Another Moran who doesn’t know what a bad season looks like. This season is a bad season. The prior 5 averaged 10 wins and a couple of championships. Not the standard he set the 5 years before it but the 2nd best 5 year run in wins we had in our history.
Fly away cupcake and hope you never face any REAL adversity in your life.

The sport has changed. Our program needs change.
Dabo has learned a whole lot best 15 years.
I am highly confident that he knows how to manage change in College Football.
Rather have Dabo managing the situation than hire some retread coach.
We will be fine. Just takes some time.

What if the athletic dept of some of these universities firing coaches and paying 50, 60, 70 plus milllion to start over spent 1/2 or some of that on buying players for the current coaching staff subject to whatever conditions or changes within the program whatever donor/s AD demand. Some below head coach changes need to be made. Do we really want Dabo gone??? I don't, he’s earned his place here and done it with the highest standards.. it’s obvious we don’t have the dogs…or a few top ones simply stopped playing hard not to get injured.. none if this makes any financial since. I can’t stand the business side of this but I do cherish the gameday experience and nostalgia of being a graduate of Clemson and being on campus.

Coach Swinney has Clemson by the balls for 6 more years. Get use to it, the man is telling it like it is, if the AD, Admin don't like it fire him. Pony up the $60,000,000 million gauranteed by Clemson University and Coach Swinney is off to play ball elsewhere so he says.

There's a difference
Nov 7, 2025, 9:56 AM
|
|
There is a difference between wanting a coach fired and holding a coach accountable. Dabo deserves a chance to right things. But Dabo needs to be held accountable just like any other coach . He is in the top 5 in being paid in college.
Some see this as one bad season. I see this as 3 or 4 bad seasons. With the resources at Clemson and players recruited, and playing a charmin soft schedule, 2 losses should be the max. 3 if you also beat a legit team along the was that season. Clemson hasn't beat a legit team in years. This year is just a continuation of the downward spiral since covid. So some accountability is in order. Dabo knows this. But he continues to deflect.

Nobody’s “knocking a good man down.” Dabo’s a good man, no question, but this is football, not a church picnic. Leadership isn’t just about being a great person; it’s about adapting, evolving, and producing results. Clemson fans have poured money, loyalty, and emotion into this program, so expecting accountability isn’t hate, it’s respect for the standard he built.
If people want blind loyalty, they can join a fan club. Clemson football was built on competition, not complacency. “Righting the ship” starts with facing the truth, not silencing anyone who points out the leaks.
Go Tigers!

Dabo needs to fix his football program not during this season, but during the next off season. He had better be prepared to remake his staff into the one Clemson football is paying top dollar for and not this training ground for his favorite former players, roommates and their kids. He needs to go get 8 to 12 portal players that can make an immediate impact and cut the kids just taking up scholarships and standing on the sidelines their whole career. It works for Alabama, Ohio State and the rest of the true long-term, year in, year out contenders. The steady decline of this program is 100% on Dabo. If he refuses then I hope he has the decency to step aside and let someone else try.

I agree. Dabo is very capable of running a championship program. He does need to embrace change. Not sure star athletes want a program that wants to develop them as young men without money. Dabo may be able to recruit three star and not ranked players, but most four and five stars want big NIL deals. Wonder if Deshaun Watson, Trevor Lawrence, Tee Higgins, or DeAndre Hopkins would come to Clemson now. I am forever a Clemson fan no matter what. Go Tigers!
