IPTAY Tickets not scanning

Anyone else have any issues with tickets not scanning at the game? My son had IPTAY lower level tickets and was denied entrance. They sent him to the IPTAY office to print tickets, ran him around the whole stadium to different gates, etc. etc. The scan he had downloaded to his wallet wasn't valid and when he went to IPTAY ticketmaster account it said tickets had been claimed. Never got in game.

Ticketmaster is HORRIBLE. I can never get the tickets to download to my wallet on my phone, so I have to bring them up "real time" as I walk towards the stadium. However, I manged to do it 4 times this year. If he just screenshotted the tix it ain't gonna work.

He downloaded them from IPTAY Ticketmaster account as always into his wallet beforehand knowing that stadium cell coverage is a nightmare. Stadium workers and security were laughing at a college kid in a Clemson Jersey telling him he bought fake tickets.

Seems an obvious question, but were the tickets purchased directly through Clemson? If so, I would contact the ticket office with a complaint.

If he bought a verified ticket on Ticketmaster, contact them. They have some sort of guarantee though I don’t have any info on that.

If he bought from anywhere else, he’s just out of luck.

It’s too bad he missed out.

Every other game they just asked to see the tickets. I swiped and they let me through. I saw them doing that with other people as well. I'd pay a little extra for them to send me paper tickets again because the scanning slows lines down and doesn't work a lot of times.

instead of fixing the issue, they've been waving folks in. That's not a solution for an away game. 1 thingI heard helps is making sure you are transferring tickets to your personal ticketmaster account not just downloading directly from the iptay account. They need to terminate the Ticketmaster agreement if this can't be fixed and better gamedday resolution in place. Very discouraging that IPTAY/Clemson didn't have someone in place to get him in the game and sort out the "why" later.
