If you truly want change in the basketball program, you MUST stop going to the games. When Clemson fans wanted a change in the football program, the upper decks were nearly empty and there were plenty of empty seats in the lower bowl.

Still it's not quite that simple. For those having season tickets ,the money has already been received by the athletic dept. So if you have season tickets, your throwing your money away, to some degree. Besides what else is there do around here on any given weekday night? The difference between Football and basketball is he amount of revenue generated. With football you are talking 80,000 + seats versus 11,000 seats, give or take .So if say 12,000 people don't show up for a football game, well you might have a partially empty stadium. But if 11,000 fans don't show up for a basketball game you are playing in front of an empty arena. Then what? Add to that time traveled and spent at a football game versus that of a basketball game .Most Football Saturdays are day long affairs ,while basketball might be 3 hours coming and going and the game itself. But if you think I am full of it, just look at Williams Brice Stadium every Saturday where there is a home game. And I certainly don't seeing the coots winning even the SEC East, let alone an appearance in the CFP's.

And I posted this, IPTAY gets the money for football, Clemson will get the same check from the NCAA whether there is 1000 or 8000 in the stands. I will agree appearance matters and being competitive matters, which we have been. It may be time for a change, but we have to realize that change will not guarantee better results. Go back and look at our baseball results and you will understand.

We saw it and thought you were a moron every time. Our student athletes deserve our support. Turing your back on the university and program is not the answer. If you really care about the program which I doubt, you would start an NIL and group fund it. Give the top recruits a reason to come to Clemson. Cycling through head coaches has been proven by WF, GT, NCSU and a hundred others to Be ineffective unless other changes are made to the program. Not sure why you can’t see this unless you simply pushing an agenda without actually caring about improving the program

I do care about the players, I care enough to know that they deserve better. They deserve a coach who is completely vested in the program and players. Coaching them to be better players and having the chance to play at the next level. But it seems the players skills get worse instead of better. A classic example is Dawes from his freshman year to this year.

CBB is completed vested in the program and players. Unfortunately you want a cheat to play the AAU payola game and CBB is not a cheat. He other alternative is for whining fans like your self step up with an NIL to support the program.
What we have seen over and over is if the coach changes and nothing else changes the program goes down hill as one of three things happen. 1) a coach has a couple of successful seasons and leverages it for a better job (Barnes). 2) coach gets caught cheating and probation ensues (Locke) 3) New coach bombs out (Shyatt).
Clemson will not pay enough and the job too risky for us to hire the coach you want so we would settle for a little known guy just like we did when CBB was hired. So why not do something which is sure to help the program than pushing your agenda which will certainly hurt the program?

A person who loves Clemson University would not say nor post this type of comment!

No need to push for something like that.

It's happening organically under Brad as more and more fans get turned off as we continue to downward spiral, and after 12 years show zero signs that it will ever be much different. Some folks though are cool with that, and feel like our student-athletes don't deserve better than what they have now as a coach.
I don't understand the fear of potentially doing worse with a new hire at the expense of today's malaise, but I guess that's how us morons' brains work. I mean, it's silly, right, to think that given our history in basketball that we should ever believe we could put in the right fit at the top here and do better, as this never happens in collegiate sports.
Go Tigers.

First off Waterboy you are not a moron for stat ing your opinion and yes I understand your point seeing money is the driving factor. A few on this thread have logged in under other aliases and pose as apologists for Brad Brownell. I would give them a thumbs down and move along. Nothing intellectual ever comes from their arguments. Better off talking to a brick wall because in the end you will be called a coot biotch or a moron or whatever else their small minds can conjure up to get a rise out of you. As I mentioned before just move along.

I have no alias and he is a moron. You must also be a moron for making assumptions which are untrue and commenting without saying anything on topic

No need to keep reiterating what’s been said everyday for the last month. Folks including yourself know my stance no need to add anything else. Difference being I don’t call people out for not being the apologists that you seem to be. Who the hell are you to tell people they should do better or are not true not Clemson fans because they disagree with your wait till next year approach.

I understand what you are saying- but is that fair to the young men that work hard every day during practice, to look up and see empty seats.

Or lack of I should say is the key to get their attention. Money talks. However, it’s unfair to our players to do this. They deserve crowds at their games. As long as this has been going on here the AD and BOT are bound to have already received plenty of complaints over the last 12 years. Apparently just not enough??
