I remember the coots use to say the same things about Dabo 10 to 12 years ago that some Clemson fans are saying now.
Not calling anyone a coot but thats funny. Even heard a Clemson fan call him a cheerleader this morning. Man thus is crazy lol.

Exactly. lol
And I can’t believe we hired a head coach who’s never even been a coordinator! He’ll have no idea what he’s doing!!! 🤣

Absolutely 100% right the OP.
He needs to shut his mouth and get to work finding the old Dabo that was willing to do whatever it took.

I’m afraid old Dabo died when he started making $11.5 million per year. All pride and blindness

No one said he's blaming God. He's using God as an excuse to suck.

I agree with the OP. The more he talks, the worse it gets. I truly don't believe he knows how to fix this, or he doesn't believe there is much too fix.

I don’t want him fired, and he never will be. But I think a lot of us who have supported him are getting to the point of saying talk is cheap. Quit telling me how great we’re going to be. Quit telling me we all care and we hurt. Quit criticizing sports writers for asking questions and writing about what we all see. Quit telling me how great all the players are. Just shut up and win a freaking game.

My Friend, I can't speak for you or anyone else, other than myself.

You have a right to your opinions, as you have the right to express them.
For me personally, considering my age and longevity with my Alma Mater, I just can't bring myself to say that Dabo Swinney should be fired or to tell him publicly to shut up. That's because I would consider such to be a gross sign(s) of disrespect completely unwarranted, considering the heart and soul that man has poured into Clemson for a long, long time.
I'm like most others: greatly disappointed with the season thus far, as well as highly concerned about recurring problems over the past few years. However, the fact remains that neither our BOT nor our AD Neff nor, for that matter, has our HC himself called me to stand on the sidelines or offer my input. Furthermore, I believe the overwhelming majority of our Clemson family remain Dabo Swinney supporters, being grateful for the fame and recognition already received.
I sincerely believe that our Coach will right the ship, as best as he can, given whatever tools available, We might not ever win another national title in his era. We will probably lose more games, even those in which we are heavily favored. We will probably miss on our recruiting, make mistakes in hiring and so on. Even so, I'd be willing to bet Dabo Swinney will remain in Clemson annals and lore as the greatest coach to ever grace our sidelines.
My love for my Alma Mater has remained unchanged since May 1969, when I received my diploma from R.C. Edwards. Not one time have I ever disavowed my support, especially over our football program, win, lose or draw, and I have no intention to start now. To me it's all about perspective and certainly not about my ego. Perspective...perspective, perhaps, a key ingredient often overlooked or simply ignored.
My best wishes to you.
