Info for Youtubetv and blacked out games

Seen somewhere on here last night about Bally being on Youtubetv but I could not find it on my options to add to my subscription. I can go with Bally+ (app) and it does give me certain ACC games and then its very limited to like the Hornets and Hawks for the NBA, that I have not watched since the Bulls were dominating, the Carolina Hurricanes and then Atlanta's MLS team. No Braves games available to me with my zip code. If I could get those games I would sign up seeing it's right at 20 dollars a month, but cannot justify seeing I would not watch anything but Clemson if they happened to be on there.
Also for blacked out games what are my options: Seen something about using a VPN which I do have. If someone could share some details on making that work I would be most appreciative.

In the Greenville area, the only cable provider that offers Bally is Spectrum.

I tried Bally last night for the Wake game. Signed up for the one week trial. I didn’t like it at all. I thought getting around the site and finding the options was strange but maybe I didn’t stick with it long enough to get through the learning curve. I had trouble casting it to my TV and when I did it suddenly quit at the end of the first half. Watched second half on my iPad until about 2 min left when it suddenly disappeared. Cancelled my trial subscription today. The solution would be for the ACC to get off the RSN network but I don’t expect that to happen.

The Bally on AppleTV is buggy as all get out from what I’ve heard. It works ok for me on Roku. I have app access because I subscribe to the regional sports nets on DTV (sat based). That’s the most hassle free solution for the blackouts outside of the accessing streams via VPN. I don’t know the latest status on DTV Stream subscription but previously they didn’t have the Bally contract like satellite subscription. I also have YouTubeTV subscription that kids use at Clemson. It’s news to me that adding Bally is available.

I didn’t add through my YouTube TV. I signed up on the Bally web site. I was trying to use Apple TV too to cast to TV. Did not work well at all.

Unfortunately, it’s not an option via YoutubeTV; can’t purchase it as an add-on. Stand alone but not via UTTV.

If you have a VPN on a computer:
activate it and pick a server somewhere else like TX or CA.
Now you can watch the game on watch ESPN which is blacked out because RSN/Bally's has the rights to it in the southeast.
For simplicity, make sure you are logged into watch ESPN with your youtube credentials first.
and it only works on computers because on your phone they also use the GPS to check your location so you'd have to spoof that as well.
My laptop has hdmi out so I just attached it to the tv and watched it on the tv.

Not so fast my friend

I am in Charleston and used a server in California for my VPN and had no problem getting the game on my iPhone.
I used the ESPN app on my iPhone and my AppleTV to watch on my 65” flatscreen.
It worked great and there were no glitches or buffers and the video quality was fantastic! It actually looked better than games I watch using YouTubeTV.

Youtube tv won the contract for the Sunday Ticket and was really hoping they could get this deal worked out with Bally. I’m in shock I can not even catch a Braves game living in SC.

Where do you live? When I go to the subscriptions I see no mention of the Braves.

But I use my nephews spectrum account (tisk tisk). I figured the streaming option would be no different.

Virtual Private Network (VPN) but places your IP address at a different part of the world. There are a lot of them free but you have to find one that is in the US as a lot of them are found overseas and access will be denied. I had VPN I could use from my office in Dallas, and that allowed me to watch blacked out games. But mostly had to use VPN because I was traveling overseas and I couldn't stream/watch ESPN and other US tv unless I tricked the apps into thinking I was in the US.

Think that’s what I’m going to try with the NordVPN. Thank you!

Update on the latest on trying to solve my issues. I currently have Youtubetv and last night signed up for Bally's. 7 day free trial before they would charge me. Some pop up windows came up and I am thinking this has to do with me being able to stream on multiple devices.
A few minutes passed and I am getting a fraud alert on my credit card because someone was trying to charge me $39.99. I did not recognize the charge so I had to cancel the card.
Needless to say this has not gone well. Question... were there other sign ins needed on getting Bally's. i.e (Streaming Now) and which one do you go with South or Southeast?? Aggravated.
