Just don’t care as much now with the portal and NIL. It’s not the same game it used to be and I just can’t get as invested as I used to be.
I used to let games like last weekend ruin my whole weekend. Not anymore.
Still cheer for the Tigers and go to a few games a season, but I don’t plan my weekends around college football anymore like I did for years.
Hope this team gets it turned around though.

I was also fortunate enough to attend the '16 national title game with my son. Quite literally the mountaintop of sports experiences that I'm almost assured I'll never get to repeat.
So, between that and the paid players, and the move to 'super leagues', and the expansion of post-season, and Clemson forgetting how to play offensive football... *shrugs* it is what it is. I've thought there was a clock on my following the sport for awhile now. Tick tock...

Agree. I'm up in the mountains, drove my 15 year old and a friend up to winter park to do some down hill mountain biking. In the last I would have never left on a Saturday the tigers are playing on.
Instead, left early, got a few runs in with them, bought iPad and let them keep going as I watched the game.
In last I would have missed out on all this time with them just to be in front of the big screen and comfy.
Someone always says, it's just a game, don't let it ruin your life. I agree.

Agreed. CFB is a shell of what it used to be thanks to the portal. I would blame the portal just as much as the NIL. It is time contracts.

Wrong. Been saying it since they were put in place. It’s semi-pro ball now, not amateur football.

Don’t care as much about the sport as a whole which filters down into not getting as upset with the downs in our season. Part of it is not watching media or spending any time on boards outside of Clemson specific forums so I don’t really have to worry about hearing a bunch of crap from other fans and “journalists.”

Country all day. But it does take the sting out when we aren’t meeting expectations. No sense in following recruiting and preseason news as it’s all a crap shoot as to whose transfers will actually gel into a team and who will end up like FSU last year.

Cry some more. I live in reality and post as such. As I’ve said before, block me if you don’t like what I have to say. It’s a sports message board, not everyone has the same opinions as you. Get over it.

I cannot believe the reaction on here after 4:17 of a football game that lasts 60:00 minutes. Sure, I'm dissapointed in that 4 minutes and 17 seconds as well, but there are 55 minutes and 43 seconds of college football still to play! You guys that are predicting gloom and doom are just ridiculous. I hope!
Grow up, you guys!
Get a grip!
Win, lose or draw...I'm a Tiger Fan forevermore!

Same. Didn't renew my season tickets and I'm very happy about the decision.
