In this scenario..who deserves to get in.

We lose to Wake, but win the ACC championship.
Oregon goes on to win the Pac 12 Champion and finishes with 1 loss.
Alabama has 1 loss at the end.
If there were only 1 spot left, who deserves that last spot between one loss Clemson, Oregon, and Bama?

and Oregon get left out. Bama would have played a tougher schedule, beat the team that beat Oregon, and a loss for us against Wake would be hard to overcome in the little minds of the Committee voters.

CU because we would have beaten two teams from the best football conference ever and won our conference.
Or Oregon. Because they won their conference and only loss was to a team from the SEC.
Not Bama because they didn’t even win their division and have only one quality win (assuming they win at Auburn).

If it was just between us and Oregon in that case then I'd say Oregon because their win over Utah would beat any of our wins, and their loss to Auburn on a neutral field wouldn't be as bad as our loss to Wake at home.

Alabamy, who won't even win their division. They don't even deserve a sniff. I realize this is a conversation the current state of affairs demands, but it's one we shouldn't even be having. It should be cut and dried.

If we lose to Wake, it's over baby, unless every other big team also loses. An unlikely scenario. All Clemson has to do is win. The Tigers are 32.5 favorites over Weak Florist. I'm expecting a blowout. I don't know if 'Bammer or Oregono lose any more games. Let's not forget Jawja, the Okies, Minnehaha and the Nitty Bitty Lions. All of them are still in play. But, all sorts of craziness has to happen in order for any of the last four above to get in.

Also a Clemson Grad, but any team that looses to Wake or South Carolina does not need to be in the Playoff.

In this scenario, it would more than likely be Oregon in the eyes of the committee. If Oregon wins the PAC 12, then they would have beaten a top 10 Utah in order to do so. That win, combined with their conference championship would elevate the Ducks past a one loss Clemson and a one loss Alabama, even if Clemson were to have a conference championship of their own. The home loss to Wake Forest would be the decisive factor. It would be likely comsidered an ugly loss compared to a huge win for Oregon over a top 10 team.
