Please repost without the emoji in the subject line. High school football is great. High school sports are the last bastion of amateurism, unless you're in states like Missouri where a player can start receiving NIL $$ as soon as they sign with an instate school.

I was only lamenting over the 104 degree weather today here in Texas and we are ranked as the #706 best hs in Texas. I love hs football but it wayyyy too hot for bad football

D2 is a viable alternative.

But I truly get tired of arm tackling. I refer to it as the defense dance.

Totally agree. I have seriously considered trying figure out a way to watch more high school football, with a leaning towards mid-level classification. All because of the professionalizing of college football has so turned me off.
