All these crazy pro athletes are a new revelation to me. I never knew until college football season ended and I started paying attention. Very entertaining. WWE got nothing on these guys. Not to mention there's a Clemson guy playing on the other side of the field from Sherman.
APM finna pull for the Seahawks and da L.O.B. up in da Super Bowl!

that HE was the best corner in the NFL and that the WR he was covering on the play is crap.
Sherman is not going to the Super Bowl for either of those reasons. He has a great coaching staff and a great team and a great fan base that put him in a position to use his talents to be successful. Sherman is an incredible athlete, but his perception of the world is that of a child raised by wolves. He made everything about him, which shows what a small-minded selfish person he is.

raised by wolves he probably would have been more about his pack than himself?
For the record, I think it was a great interview and response to the 49ers thug triplets of Kaep, Boldin and Crabtree. They run their mouths incessantly and act like jerks. I was happy to see Sherman shut them up. He made a huge play to send the Seahawks to the SB. Yes, Richard Sherman thinks highly of himself, but he really is one of the best if not the best corner in football.

Sherman is a bigger thug/jerk than the entire 49er team. Kaepernick doesn't taunt other players or try to humiliate them. He just dresses funny and has an annoying TD celebration.
Sherman talks way way way more than any other player in the NFL. The only reason Crabtree said the stuff he did pregame is because Sherman started running his mouth as soon as he got to the NFL. Crabtree deserved it, but Sherman is actually a bigger punk.

previous post, I would have known not to waste my time on defending the 49ers. (I have no idea if you are a Panthers fan, but I wanted to jab at them anyway.)
Fine, Kaepernick did mock Cam Newton. But I believe what Sherman did was in a completely different category. Instead of celebrating a win with your team, you run after a WR and put your hands on him to rub it in. No 49er has ever stooped that low. Not only that, instead of giving any credit to his team or fans, which allowed him to be in the position he's in, he makes it all about a childish personal rivalry. I'm not saying the guy should be fined or arrested for his behavior, I'm just saying he's the biggest ###### bag in sports.

Yeah well the funny thing about the Sherman interview is he now gets to line up opposite probably the greatest QB ever in the prime moment of his career & will likely be embarrassed substantially.
I say that despite the fact that I swear I heard Peyton scream out "Neil Young" during his pre-snap hut hut bizness & wanted to kill him when I realized that I am younger than him.

Though, we all know the word thug is associated with black culture for some reason. I don't care, nor am I politically correct, but if Kaepernick's hat bill wasn't so straight, and he sounded more white, nobody would call him a thug.
I'm not outraged about it, but I still think it's true.
White dude's who act white and who are confrontational a-holes are usually called pr!cks or d*uches. And Blacks who are a-holes are usually called thugs.
Somebody grab some popcorn.

When I brought up the thugs thing, it was in response to someone else's post. I was making a general and wild statement.
Just because I think that people use the word thug subconsciously specifically for blacks who behave a certain way, doesn't mean I think anyone has any negative thoughts towards black people at all. I just think it's a linguistic habit.
And I certainly don't think your opinion of Kaepernick has anything to do with his race, because you are defending Sherman who looks a tad black to me.

that a majority of young people including white young people, wear it doesn't make you a "thug". By the way Kaepernick was raised by a white family. CSG, maybe if he wore skinny jeans and shopped through the LL Bean catalogue he wouldn't be a "thug" to you anymore.

Last night was nothing more than two punk teams going at it. Great fun to watch. Seattle backed it up and San Fran packed it up. Trust me I lived in San Fransisco and that is pretty much all you need to know.
