In regards to the "Recruiting Nation" article on RN,

Oct 13, 2012, 12:59 AM

why is ESPN interviewing someone from dawgnation.com about a Clemson recruit? Do they not have any connections or know anyone associated with Clemson? You would almost think they have an agenda interviewing someone who sounds as if he's recruiting for UGA himself. They just can't stand it. Did Clowney get this kind of backlash, I only remember the last few weeks when he was on ESPNU all the time and visiting Clemson.

The influence ESPN has with this SEC hype is enormous. It reaches far beyond the money. You kid yourself if you think it doesnt reach all media outlets, voters and hell..even other fan bases. The kids are the EASY targets...

The absurdity in this, is this. You have seasoned reporters going after these kids with the same questions put to them in so many ways to obtain the results they want to print. After being printed and getting back to the kids, it sounds nothing in the way it was meant by the kid. And that has the kids on the defensive. Exactly the same as the AJC has done to Robert Nkemdiche right after he committed to Clemson. The really sad thing here is, the closer it gets to signing day, it will get worse for him. If his recruitment would have been kept on the down low like the way with CJ Spiller. None of this B S with Robert would be happening now. There are so many people out there that will do any and everything they can to make sure that Clemson doesn't land a recruit like Robert. The ESECPN and the SEC, they see Clemson coming. And it's starting to worry the H&LL out of them that an ACC school is after that top spot. Don't be a bit surprised to see them coming after Dabo and Chad Morris also. It's a no rules game now to stop Clemson and the ACC from rising to the top. If you think not, just watch. This is BIGGG business with BIGGG money, and Clemson is becoming a threat to them and their piggy bank.

They will also direct alot of their focus on covering the high profile recruits that play in the under armour allstar game. But yeah Espn does love drama! Clemson has tons of help in this situation.
