After all, coots need some place where they can watch what everyone else in their conference is winning so that they can feel good about themselves.

Yeah, and if the SECN does not do well that will be bad for the ACCN when they sit down to talk money.

Pruitt will turn things around for Uga defensively . After Clemson abuses them in the opener ...they don't really play anyone offensively talented until Auburn. Actually , Clemson and Auburn are the only teams on their schedule one would expect to do damage to his defense.

Better hope so, if it is less than expected, it will impact the new ACCN's negotiations as far as money.

This is somewhat true. We are all paying for it in the sense that when we pay our provider for basic coverage, it is included now in the "total package", which in dollars means the providers are paying the SEC $1.40 per month per household in the SE and the provider is left to figure out how to recoup. So far, they have all decided to bow down to ESPN and offer on their basic packages, meaning they decided to bite the bullet for fear of losing subscribers to their competition. Brilliant move by the SEC and Espn, who stand to profit handsomely. By year three of this deal, projected payouts to each SEC school from this Network is estimated to be 40 million plus per year.
