Congrats To Dabo...Seriously. He Has a Secret Weapon

Clemson is now a place that creates coaches and elevates personnel to better opportunities. This is because of a program Dabo built.

When you look at a place like South Carolina, which is a place that is a coaching graveyard, Clemson is now a place where I'm sure Dabo has a stack of resume's to choose from.

D-Rad walked into a cake walk program that was built by TDP and Dabo (along with other strong programs) and all he had to do is not screw it up and spend the money this program now generates like a drunken sailor. He'll be a well paid AD at a Miami program that will never return to what it was. Clemson made him the AD flavor of the month.

This is an exciting time to see what Dabo builds with a new staff. I think the Tiger Nation became a little too aristocratic for our own good and forgot was it was like before our decade of domination. We now are a program that considers a 9 win season as a huge disappointment. I remember when we were begging bigger bowls than we probably deserved to pick us because we travel so well and spend money.

The Secret Weapon: The ACC

This isn't exactly a "Murders Row" of tough competition and I don't think the league will be as strong next year as it was this year. The ACC will afford new coordinators to take the talent we have and along with a solid recruiting class should be fine for the fall season.

Good post, but I dissent on that point. The secret weapon is Dabo's way of doing things generally. The ACC is a buttress of sorts to that. But even then, people tend to forget that the ACC has not been so dreadfully bad every year during our run as it is now.

You can't give me an "A" and a "f" on the same comment!..LOL

It's no "Secret" that Dabo is the "Key" to our success. My point is that Dabo will take advantage of the ACC not being at it's best to get his new coaches in place and acclimated in a way that we should be impacted too bad if at all.

Since we are grading each other I'm giving you an "F" on poor use of adjectives. Back to Schoolhouse Rock with you:
