Discriminating if not hurtful in that it signals one's....
well, it sends a signal that one is to be personally identified by their #, and also no one is going to get to a perfect 100 in this lifetime especially if MFO is only at 67 at close to 150,000 posts with many being about "What Y'all Having For Supper?"..
and even our TNetter guru writer David Hood's # is only around a 91 and he has hundreds of thousands of brownie points (aka TU's).
Saying, let's get rid of them since low #'s remind me of too many low test scores in high school and/or at college that were publicly posted and where others could judge me!

when I saw the 47 in a circle. It immediately reminded me of that one required electrical engineering class I took in '80. Landed a visiting prof from China who spoke around 6 English words.
After the first exam, he passes out the scored exams. The class average is 34. I made a 38. The high score was an Asian who made around 90+
I stand up from my chair, leave the room, walk across campus, pick up a drop/add card,
and return to the classroom. Prof is sitting at his desk, while the students are now re-taking the same test!
When I tell him I'm dropping, the whole class looks up at me, and Prof says "You should stay. I grade on curve." I respond, "No thanks, too risky."
Next semester, I make a B in the same course with an American grad student.
I don't really have a point here, except that scores with circles around them have always been highly subjective.

It's the 'neighborhood' where you're currently living in the Tnet community.
Some are living in small apartments and starter homes and a few have big mansions. Many have spent a huge part of their lifetime building a modest and comfortable dwelling place here and others dumped a bunch of 'new money' to move into the latest phase of the development.
