I have spent a few days there. Once as a child fishing lake St. Clair and stayed on the Canadian side.

Once when my flight back from Europe got delayed and had to spend the night in some ghetto motel.

Stay on the Canadian side of Niagara

It’s cheaper and nicer. US side is like if Gatlinburg and Myrtle Beach had a crack baby but they thought it was a genius

We got a Falls view room at the Double Tree for less than a backside (lulz) room at the Hampton on the US side

Hamilton has a Royal Botanical Garden on the way to Toronto and some nice restaurants along the lake.
