I was just thinking the other day I wonder what I defensive ppg would be if you took away all the garbage points in the final mins we've given up this year by the backups. 6.75 ppg given up by the starters basically, about as solid as you get.

They see final scores that include garbage time TDs. It's deceptive.
But this stat begins to reveal that teams just can't score on our starting D.
I believe the team had 1 bad game up at 'Cuse.
And our secondary was extremely thin in Raleigh...which was a big deal against them. We had a WR back there in crunch time...which is crazy.
But you look at those other games and wow!
Thia defense is better than last year's. More depth. Very fast. And they just own the line of scrimmage.
Can't wait until Saturday.
