Can't cover the grass for very long because it will kill it. I'm would hope they have a sub-air underneath to help pull water out.

Maybe they could cover it tomorrow, just the one day. It would be good to go by Saturday I would think. I’m not sure those sub-air deals could keep up with what is headed this way.

You think covering it for a day would kill it?
I know nothing about that kind of turf so was just thinking that’s what would have been done. Sounds like you all know a lot more about it than I do.

I dont know if it would kill it but you could damage the root system.
You are basically suffocating the field when you do that.

I’m glad I’m not in an IPTAY lot this weekend. The grass lots are going to be a muddy mess.

The field almost never looks bad no matter what the weather is. Compared to many fields around the country that do

These conditions favor the team with strong online and clines and big running backs…. So basically Clemson. Let’s go!

We have a sub air system but the real rain is tomorrow so it will be working on overload.

Pickens, Oconee, and Anderson County roads and streams after this storm passes. Already saturated ground that gets significantly more rain over a short period of time can get very tricky and unpredictable. Ain't a whole lot of roads leading into Clemson to begin with.

I knew the field wouldn't be a problem, we got far worse in 2015 and didn't do much then. Drainage system is top notch
