Or softball in particular, but the people on this board who are butthurt over losing a super regional on the road to a team that is 56-1 in only the 4th year of the existence of the program have either lost their collective minds or are just plain stupid. Chill out and celebrate a tremendously successful season by a team that had no business being this good in the infacy of the program.

Backhanded compliment I guess. This is a Clemson team we were pulling for who were so very close to pulling off the upset. We are disappointed for them. Maybe you should just not comment on any women’s sports.

You are exactly right. These established programs are a tough hill to climb. We gave a good account of ourselves and now we have to set high goals for recruiting and go after the very best. With our support and facilities- we can do just that.

And probably the last. The way most of these ladies, mostly Oklahoma, act on the diamond turned me off from the sport entirely. I can’t ever recall seeing an elite men’s team act like complete children on a sports field. No class whatsoever. Slamming down bats after getting a walk? Who does that? Unwatchable.

From a pure "Athletic Ability" standpoint, it was obvious that Oklahoma passed the eye test and was far superior to our girls. I have never seen so many tall, strong, athletic women on a team, and they all could run and play defense. We were totally outgunned athletically, yet were within one pitch of winning on 3 occasions. The Clemson grit and determination bodes well for the future as the program attracts more athletic talent. It's gonna be fun to watch!
