But we are better with a change up at this time. Teams key on Boyd's tendencies and Morris' tendencies with Boyd.

If it's broken, he has the highest pain threshold I've seen
Nov 14, 2013, 10:22 PM

He was swinging his arm running off the field and back to the lockeroom.
Could be a fracture, could be tons of other things, but if its a real break, Tajh is a friggin mutant.
And we are NOT better without him on the field, I think that's nothing but silly conjecture.

I've had 3 fractured collar bones. You can move your arm

A little and yes it hurts like hell. You just can't put your arm over your head.
Glad it isn't broken! I said I was 'guessng' based on what I could see.
A change up/shake up sometimes throws the other team's ability to predict how a player will react is thrown off. And with Cole and Chad, I don't see a big drop off in effectiveness. That's all I was saying.

I said "guessing". My guess was based on my personal experience with a couple of broken collar bones.
I've pointed out in other posts in this thread why what I was suggesting is not necessarily a bad thing if injury forces it.
Grammar perfection on a board like this! This ain't no term paper! Give me a break (a broken collar bone perhaps).

SO, you think this is a LUCKY BREAK for Clemson, huh?
Nov 14, 2013, 10:24 PM

Or would it be better to have Tajh break his collar bone in Citadel game?
Maybe you should coach this team and simply choose to sit Tajh for certain games --- to give Clemson a better chance of winning.
Dude, you just redefined STUPID.

I'm glad it isn't broken. So let me be clear, I don't want to see Tajh not be able to play. He is the best Clemson QB in history. No debate about that fact. So I love him.
What I was suggesting is that a change up/shake up sometimes throws the other team's ability to predict how a player will react off. And with Cole and Chad, I don't see a big drop off in effectiveness. That's all I was saying. The drop off would be more than offset by the effect of the change up on the opposing team's ability to predict.
As long as he is healthy, Morris will stick withTajh. Even to a fault. Think back to the FSU game. A change up was warranted there and it could have altered the flow of the game back in our direction. Then Boyd could come back in and do his thing. Morris has to stick with Tajh regardless right now for a myriad of reasons that all make sense - even when Tajh looks off and dazed.
Tajh's record against the coots indicates they have his number. For whatever reason, he just goes in the tank against them. A change up if that is occurring this year would be wise, but won't happen if Tajh is healthy.

Glad it isn't broken! I said I was 'guessng' based on what I could see.
Let's face it. If Tajh were to go down due to injury, it wouldn't necessarily be a horrible thing in terms of our ability to win. It actually could work in our favor.
A change up/shake up sometimes throws the other team's ability to predict how a player will react is thrown off. And with Cole and Chad, I don't see a big drop off in effectiveness. That's all I was saying.
