in the right direction. However, at some point in time I would like to hear him explain his new plan and Model for moving forward in this wild wild show of college football. If we ever bring in another coach I would like also for him to be the OC or DC.

Some in our fan base may need to be reminded:
Coach Dabo--- In modern playoff era --7 out of 10 years participating. Only Bama and Georgia have been there more. ( Some of you really like Tennessee? Been there once, in 2024) Two national championships. Winningest coach in ACC history!! Think of all those pretty good coaches he coasted past in wins!! Bobby Bowden comes to mind, as one.
Maybe best of all; Highest quality of human being of all his peers, hands down.
My friend and mentor Frank Howard helped to put Clemson on the map nationally during his tenure. Coach Swinney has significantly impacted our image positively in many ways:
Bet is you took a survey of the 60k plus applications to get into our fine institution this year, more than half would list the aura and magic personality of our football team, our head football coach, and the successes and reputation we've earned, .
Please think about your comments if negative, and going forward, lets gather around and support this fine man. Think we will be rewarded significantly.

I’m supporting Dabo. I would like to hear at the end of the season his new model and plan on moving forward in recruiting. Dabo has shared many times his present model including Paw Journey. In lieu of the fact that College football recruiting is nothing like it was when he developed his first model and he shared that many times I would like to hear his new plan and model including use of the portal. I am not a big supporter but our family contributes around $10,000 per year in Iptay and tickets. Just would like Dabo at some point in time explain how he will operate forward with his plan and model. Dabo in the past has always had a plan for the future. He certainly can’t operate the way he has in the past. What is the new plan and model?

Don't believe its in your M O for Dabo to respond to these questions. Think his real bosses will be posing them, and getting his answers. And in the end will be our coach for a long time.

So, our record against teams with a pulse the last 4-5 years doesn't concern you? He's been hiding behind a terrible ACC schedule to get to 10 wins for several years now.

We already received the reward and for that I’m grateful but this isn’t a sudden problem, it’s the result of half a decade’s worth of bad hires and decisions.
I’m all for letting him right the ship but the leash has to be reigned in a little at some point.

You are greatly overstating footballs importance.

While it is certainly a popular sport and a valuable tool in marketing, most people don’t choose a college based on the football team or its coach.

We are five years into this current era of college football. Dabo has dug his heels in, doing things his way:
-Hiring/promoting mostly unqualified coaches -Calling Clemson’s NIL “God’s name, image, and likeness.” -Saying that our transfer portal is our locker room. -Joking that we got a bunch of transfers - from high school -Threatening to quit if players ever got paid
Meanwhile, programs which have been beneath us have passed us because their coaches have embraced the transfer portal and NIL. These are programs with fewer resources than we have.
The call to “give Dabo time to fix this” falls flat, because he created this mess 5+ years ago and has continued allowing it to get worse. How much more grace and time does he deserve? His elite success here is becoming more and more of a distant memory.
