Anyone writing about football that thought Watson was overrated when he first observed him needs to write about bowling or tennis. He was greatness rom the beginning, although raw, and you could see it from day one. To say otherwise demonstrates they don't know what they are talking about. Some guys are wait and see and maybe they develop, but even Chad Kelly saw it and took off for greener pastures and eventually Ole Miss.

A lot people that judge another just wants to talk thinking that others will think that they know what they are talking about. HS QBs come into college FB not having the speed as a seasoned QB, and the 1st thing they think is that they're not as good as advertised. The next time they see him, they say that the QB coach done a fantastic job with them, I say they are giving the QB coach to much credit. IMHO, you can't turn an average QB into a DW4 or a TL16. You are born with the athletic ability that DW4 or TL16 had starting from their athletic interest from kids to as far as they want to go with it.

I like that Sewell has a mean streak!!!! I believe that for lineman to be really good at playing in the trenches, a mean streak is a must have, and if not, they get pushed around and are not that good at the position.

I’m encouraged by the freshman linemen looking the part already.

Also great to hear about Vizzina’s accuracy, as well as his kindness to a young fan.

We will know more very quickly after the spring game film. Our underclassmen O line looked completely overmatched going against both 1's and 2's last year (as did most of the starters). The excuse was that we had the #1 D line in the country! Well, as it turned out, not really. ND lined up and ran right through Clemson. We know exactly how good TD, Ruke, and all the rest are (better than average). If the O line gets pushed around again then we certainly won't have any sound basis to think some magic change from the past 5 years will happen. Hope we see a real change this year and some good battles with some of the younger O lineman. We've seen the starters from last year and the improvement from year to year is minimal for most. Need some fresh blood. Hoping for the best.
