Why I watched other teams we play have receivers open running all across the field but it seems like every play DJ's having to throw a 50/50 ball because I receive it have a defender Draped all over them. Why? Are we that predictable? I'm just asking because I have never have faith in the streeter to be a OC. I like him, I just don't think he's a play caller.

It's more likely that to guard DJ a defense only has to cover his primary, which is where his eyes go throughout the play 90+% of the time, and his checkdown receiver. Therefor, many times he is torn between his two choices which are to throw to a man man in double coverage or just throw the ball away. That seems more obvious to me.
The coaching staff has dumbed down the playcalling to DJ's ability which has resulted in him appearing to do a better job of managing the offense. (1) That and the fact that DJ is much improved in speed and agility is why our offense is effective.
Imo, if our coaches made one mistake it was throwing the ball too much. We would have had a much better showing had we pounded the ball all night. Louise's Tech would have been worn down before halftime to where we could have given DJ much more time without pressure allowing him to try to learn to check down and find those open receivers rather than throwing to one with a defender on his back.
I think Dabo has reached the point where he believes DJ will give up if he appears to give up on DJ and is trying to coax him to achieve rather than riding him like a rented mule.
1. DJ is not able to hit a target moving laterally across the field but is limited to his ability to hit the targets which are moving, basically, straight away from him or standing still. You didn't see him trying to hit a receiver crossing the field because those plays were omitted from his playbook.
Signed,
Someone who disputes what you think is obvious

I think 10 different receivers had receptions last night. Hopefully getting better in that area?

I think Dabo is calling the plays but the offense has lacked creativity since 2018

We have a winner!
I was in the upper deck and could see all 22. On most of our passing plays the DBs knew exactly where our receivers were going. On one 3rd and about 6, their nickel DB saw our formation and backed off, giving Williams (WR 0) a 15-yard (!) cushion. In a decent offense that would have been a instant hot route to a stop route just beyond the sticks. But Williams just ran right at the deep DB and DJ never even looked over. Surprise! No one else was open either.

to hit a target moving laterally is nonexistent during a game. We saw him try last year which resulted in many of his interceptions. We seen none this year resulting in many less interceptions.

Dabo needs to clean house on offense. Streeter is terrible.

La Tech's defensive backs are faster than our receivers. If we can run the ball, we will be able to throw.

I hope we kept our offense and defense simple for the first three games due to quality of opponent. We should be able to line up and beat them because we have far better players. Next week is a different story. If it is halftime and we’ve seen the same, then we will finish 10-2 or 9-3 again.

The fault lies mainly with DJ. Great QBs cause their receivers to be open. They don't look down their receivers. They run their progressions. They throw timing routes that allow the receiver to not show his cut until the ball is in the air. I know a lot of y'all like him, for some unknown reason to me, but DJ is awful. Dabo should pull the trigger, bench him, and start developing Cade.

Cade has shown no signs of development thus far.

DJ played a solid game last night. He was pin point accurate most of the night. He’s gotten better now for three straight games.
In fact, pulling DJ in order to get Cade his reps was detrimental to DJ and the overall flow of the offense which was humming at the time.
Cade is a year away from being able to run the team.
