After a nice back and forth with the wife

about vacations for the last few months, we finally booked one for London. That's where we originally were going, but then after all the attacks Tickle_it had some fuel to his argument about going somewhere else. Looked at going to glacier park, but prices were about the same. Looked at some of those all inclusive Caribbean resorts but the flights in and out of there for the dates we had were like 10 hour layovers at best and getting back at 12 AM.
Can't wait to tell those red coats to throw another shrimp on the barby!

Tried my hardest to go anywhere else because to Tickle_it, London seems boring AF. IDGAF about museums or sightseeing or the "history" you can see there. Tickle_it is new money, not old money. He likes fast cars, hookers and blow, and private islands.

Since you'll be in London, go to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. The Crown Jewels are pretty ### awesome. Go to Westminster Abby for the self guided tour. Go to St Paul's and hike to the very top. The view is great.
Take a train to Dover for the day, hike the white cliffs
Other than that, leave London and go to Newcastle, Edinburgh, or Manchester.

That flight SUCKSAZZZZZZZ. Always full and typically full of UDP's that have never traveled and spent their last dime on that trip.
Screaming kids for hours and hours and hours. But I am sure you will have fun.
When you get off the plane, this will be you....

leave at night in the glorious US of A and arrive in Fuckingham palace at 10AM. Wifeof is all like "you just sleep on your way there." I'm like gurl don't you remember when we were young and broke and took dat redeye to Lost Vegas. I couldnt' sleep then either on a plane. Tickle_it is 6'3 with long dancer's legs and sleeping on a plane for him is like her trying to sleep in the third row of my explorer. with someone sitting beside you.

It was $700 for round trip for both of us. If we didn't have a free place to stay we wouldn't be going.

I'm not sure how they get away with the waitresses being like they are in this day and age, but it's pretty fugging delicious. I've heard people say it's overrated and they're lying bastages.

I highly recommend Madame Tussauds' wax museum. While you're there, be sure to check out the birthplace of England's greatest band, Oasis. Also, be sure to rent a car and drive around. Traffic isn't nearly as bad as you may have heard.
- Advice from someone who has never been to London.

Getting in late was 10% of the problem, the other 90% were the 10 hour layovers.
And generally in the carribean, you do enjoy the warm beer, looking at bad teeth, and trying to figure out wt F those people are saying.

Typical major city, lots of immigrants and poors. Take a train somewhere else for the rest of your stay.
Oxford has great architecture and very walkable. Edinburgh is a great city, just bring a jacket.
