This definitely seems legit. Send them your Social Security number, mother’s maiden name, and the name of your first pet too just in case. They sometimes need that info as well.

Shouldn't they also include the account and routing numbers for their bank? I find that's a big help too....

I get fake outstanding utility bill notices in my personal email and texts, fake invoices to my business email, and I've even gotten some phone calls from people claiming they have a summons for me or some crap.
The scams are really out of control.

well, we did get rid of our consumer protection agencies, and our FBI and Justice Department don;t give two fuggs.. Expect more and more of this.

See if you can block them. I had the same company sending multiple scam attempts….
Also now days one must delete before opening.
