I think his star ratings are inaccurate. Kid has a decent burst of speed and isn't shy about making big hits. Could help our depth and wind up being a good project player.

I know noone wants to hear his name and I am tired of hearing as well buttt however with Carter and Gallman here at Clemson does Nkemdiche reconsider. By no means am I a big fan of his I just simply realize that he has the talent to be a game changer with us. I always thought Adams was better but I must admit a turning of the tide where we land Nkemdiche(100to1 odds) adams, lawson is a great outcome. We already have ebo and lawson. We would be set for years. Just a thought.

Why does nobody want to hear his name?

No way should we fully count RN out until signing day, and we shouldn't be bashing him (until then) either. I would love to have him and I still think there's a good chance we sign him, especially now with the new Carter developments.
Yeah, I hate the way RN's recruitment has played out too. But he's still just a young man trying to make the biggest decision of his life. It's gotta be hard to conflict with momma like that.
I'm hoping he shocks the world and picks us. Honestly, I wouldn't even be that shocked

I honestly think Ryan Carter is a better CB than David Kamara based solely on their highlight films. I would rather have a 5 star CB any day but we need depth and he could end up being a playmaker with the right coaching and work ethic.

and RN did sign bc of us getting Ryan Carter then I do not think we get Mount Adams. Word is Mount won't go where RN goes. and at this point I'd rather get Adams over RN. It is obvious who is a more mature young adult between the 2. Adams seems more business oriented and RN is just a drama mama queen.

I want em both, but I'd rather have RN than Adams

I love Adams and I think he picks us in the end, but I think we're more set at the DT position. Lots of young talent in the middle, but a guy like RN could come in and make an immediate impact on the outside
Obviously, I want them both

So now we're going to offer a guy that we thought so little

of a few months ago, that we wouldn't even offer him if even if it meant losing Nkemdiche. What a difference three months can make.

No, I would say that they didn't offer due to the situation

they were put in by RN and the AJC. If they had offered him back then it would have appeared we only did it to appease RN. Now with RN decommitted and most likely not coming to CU it should say something about Carter's abilities if they were to offer him now. Could also be due to a new DB coach on board as well.

Bigger need now than then. Then we we had Fuller and the

and Hargreaves in the mix and had fewer schollies left. Now we've had 4 transfers and 4 decommits.

I agree about the need now, I was replying to the negative

connotation the post had. Implying Carter was not worthy of a scholarship and recruiting has gotten so bad that we're desperate to take anyone now. Even if the staff felt he was worthy an offer back then, it would have appeared to be ONLY b/c of RN and not his abilities no matter how they tried to spin it.

He wasn't worthy. He is now because of Hargreaves, Fuller

and Alexander turning us down. And no it is not because we have a new db coach that is just fantastic at getting inroads to players like Carter. It is not a good place to be.
