Taylor has the most potential but if healthy I think Spector will be the one they trust the most. I hope the the Williams boy or Taylor take the job due to their elite athleticism. But we shall see. My money is on Spector by game 3

I have a feeling that Will Taylor will go exclusively baseball in the near future. That's where his future and money is at.

Beaux Collins. I can see Ngata and either Williams or Dacari Collins On the Outside with Beaux in the slot

That's how also feel. Tyreek Hill would be a good slot WR. Deebo Samuel would be a good one. Obviously they are great, but Beaux Collins isn't made for that imo. It's not that style for the slot.

Not sure but the slot position and tight end positions seem to be the most important in the NFL. I’m hoping Street is going to develop an offense that is going to make use of the slot and tight ends. Teams have developed defenses to prevent the deep ball which our offense is based on. Notice where T. Higgins was used across the middle a bunch for Cincinnati. We used to be ahead on offense scheme with the long ball but it has become a bit stale. Georgia uses the tight end a bunch just like the NFL. This is why they got Delp when they already had the best one in the nation as a freshman. Those guys are unstopped when you need a 3 rd down conversion.

Agree it will most likely be Spector if it's remotely close in comparison. I'd love nothing more than Taylor be the guy. If Will learns the routes and can catch, won't be able to hold him back. Just too much speed... Kinda like the fella for Bama two years ago.
Really haven't seen what Stellato can or can't do. Or how quick he is. I know Taylor is faster than Spector. It'll be fun to watch.

Wouldn't be surprised if we had a rotation of Stellato, Taylor, & Spector--each having a few starts depending on practice results & previous game's performance.

Dacari Collins is my pick.

He started coming on late in the season and looked the part of a 'Clemson receiver'. If Ngata can stay healthy, he might be the guy.
No matter what, I'm excited to see the competition for WR heat up ... especially with improved quarterback play (either a new one or one with a little fire lit under him).

This.
I know it's probably a not so popular pick with us hoping Will Taylor continues to get healthy but if there's one player that starts living up to the hype in the slot that could feast, it's Stellato.
Dude has some nasty highlights worth watching.
I see Will Taylor as a Taysom Hill player for Clemson that acts as a swiss army knife moving forward.
Spector...well, I hope he has a full recovery to compete -- IMO he got the rough end of the stick in this, especially coming after old man Renfrow and sporting #13 and catching COVID complications last year. Wouldn't surprise me to see him take more of a reserved role (though I'm rooting for him moving forward like any Tiger on this team).
Williams... Great film but, like a lotta freshman these days, not sure if he'll make an immediate impact just because of the competition already here. Guess we'll find out come the spring game to get a sneak peek, right?

I don't guess and I just did a pay -pal order for a set of steak knifes and one of those chopping/ mincing / slicing /dicing machines .But thanks for letting me know. Now, however if the next time you ask this, you would consider one of those free hearing test as I prize I will submit a guess.

This is how I see the depth chart looking:
Field: Ngata - Dacari - Randall
Boundary: EJ - Beaux (or) Spector - Williams
Slot: Beaux (or) Spector - Stellato (or) Taylor

I will take this opportunity to remind everyone that I had Frank Ladson inked in as the Tigers star WR for the 2021 season at this time last season. I told anybody who would listen that Ladson was going to break out and be even better than Justyn Ross.
For this reason I have banned myself from giving WR input during the 2022 offseason.
TIA and HTH in advance.

If Brandon Spector can get healthy we have 4 logical options
Feb 25, 2022, 12:17 PM
|
|
Brannon Spector Will Taylor Troy Stellato Antonio Williams
I believe all these guys were recruited with slot receiver in mind.
If I had to choose one, I’d pick Will Taylor (if he recovers) because I think he has a bit of experience and a great deal of natural ability, speed, and athleticism.
We really don’t know much yet about Stellato or Williams. Spector is pretty much a known quantity, but he has time to improve.
