for this WS victory. I tuned into the LCS and WS three times, and each time the game went South. From then until this AM, I sacrificed my viewing pleasure and only looked for the highlights and box scores the next day. The rest is history. It couldn’t have been the great trades and the resiliency of the team

I found my lucky socks before the FSU game, so we’re golden for the rest of the year

I would rather thank Leo Mazzone, whom I met yesterday in passing and told me I needed to turn into last nights game.
I chatted with him briefly, told him how my family was big braves fans from when they moved to Atlanta, was there opening weekend ,watching Aaron ,meeting Matthews ,and later on Phil Neikro and getting to watch some of baseball greatest players( mostly National Leaguers ).Then went on to tell him I basically stopped watching baseball all together after the strike shorten season but did follow the Braves futility of winning until '95 and then beyond.
But I never saw Cox coach ,or Chipper play in person, and until last night didn't even know who managed the team.
Then we talked about how pitching has changed, which was talked about in last night's game, and he said I needed to watch game 6,and 7 if needed and to pay close attention to how the pitching went if Atlanta was to win. And he was spot on.
I actually enjoyed watching game 6,hoping Atlanta would win, but until Atlanta went up 6-0 thought once again we were going to see another post season defeat like we witnessed so often in the 90's.
Who knows ,he might have just helped me re peak my interest in the Fall Classic.
