Flowe appears to be headed to Clemson since the real USC did not make a head coaching change.
Only Burch knows where he is going at this point. I tend to think that we need Flowe more than we need Burch as we have several D-linemen on campus and committed that can do the job even without Burch. Flowe is one of those linebackers that fits the Simmons mold that we definitely could use.
I hope we get Burch as he is a great player, but Flowe would really improve an already good group of linebackers.

I wouldn't be surprised if we offered Simpson anyway. I know its offense vs defense, but we quit recruiting Arian Smith and may offer Simpson on that scholarship.

Since we’ve already told Smith there’s no scholarship for him currently.
If Flowe goes elsewhere then you’d probably see us offer Simpson but think Flowe is pretty locked in at this point.
Not getting Burch likely doesn’t impact offering Simpson one way or another.

from some stuff I'm hearing, it sounded like we told Arian there wasn't a scholarship because of "other undisclosed reasons", not because there wasn't an actual scholarship

The only way we offer Simpson is if we lose out on Flowe. Burch has no impact.
