They will have done it with the best team money could buy.
On the long list of things to hate about the NCAA, their recent feckless attitude towards recruiting violations is putting the final nail in the coffin of a once great sport.
NIL is he d@mn excuse for how the NCAA has allowed Kirby's monied booster cartel to flagrantly buy off recruit families.

Not a Bama fan but Nic Saban does not have to pay his players to get them to Bama like Kirby. Saban actually knows how to coach them up when they get there to win national championships while Kirby only knows how to coach them down to lose another one. That will be the difference again this season!

I disagree. They will have won it in the easiest year there is in recent history, but I don’t think it’s because of bought players.
Case in point, who would “buy” Stetson Bennett? Nobody, but the kid makes plays.
