I'll have to disagree.
In the old days you could wait until the end of the season. Nothing lost, nothing gained by doing it mid-season. Now, things move so fast with the portal, if you wait you'll miss out on those that have already signed with other schools. Kids are already making their decisions about us. Is this the coaching staff I want to play for? How are they going to help me? Oh, they're not. Guess I'll look elsewhere. Like you said, it's a target rich environment.

with the exception of maybe CJ, I think the main issue is the lack of utilizing the portal. I say Dabo keeps the staff except for maybe CJ (move him to an off the field role like Tajh) but goes hard in the portal to build a team for next year.

Looks to me like we're doing a much better job of rotating backs than last year. Obviously, Davidson has earned trust. While he hasn't been what I'd call a game-breaking freshman phenom, he's played well enough to earn snaps in playing time that matters, and it seems he's overtaken Eziomume. Adams runs hard and has looked good in trash time snaps...although there ain't much of that this year.
