Put that 30 second timer on the jumbo tron.
If you're the away team you got 30 seconds to get your lousy buts off our field. Plain and simple. If you lollygag around, the fine is on you.
That's how neff should play that.

IMO that would be a great way to deal with the gathering at the Paw during home games...

Haven’t we had a timer like that for years. I remember being on the field as that time hit zero a few times.

That's just not realistic. It will need to be at least several minutes.

30 seconds will not be enough time, it will take several minutes before fans can enter the field.

Add one dollar to each ticket as a gathering fee, kinka like "resort fee" in Vegas, and just pay the fine. You could add to that by doin a game time go fund me account for The Gathering.
Just pay for it. Colleges and Universities are paying for everything else, coaches, players, refs, sports writers all bought and paid for just pay for that too.

If the goal of the fine is to prevent fans from going on the field rather

than to generate money for the league, they will just change the penalty to something harsher such as a rapidly escalating fine.

You've got me off my a$$ to read up on the subject which I will confess to not doing so before posting.
Looks like the LSU, SMU, and FSU games are gonna cost $350,000 depending on outcome. Might as well start saving it now, because it will be hard to hold em back if they're celebrating.

$200,000 is the max fine per game. The entire season would cost $1.15M.

Pocket change.
That’s cheaper than a backup QB.

Fans should get paid to stay off the field.
I mean…at this point… why not add that to the lunacy?
