Georgia Tech is a 2.5 point favorite

Feb 25, 2020, 9:35 AM

over the tigers tonight, as someone who doesn’t watch a lot of Georgia Tech a lot I was shocked with this number as all I knew about them was their record which is 13-14. However their is a reason for this line, Georgia Tech has been two different teams this year one with Jose Alvarado and one without. I thought the reason for their recent success was just a lot of guys playing good basketball, but after listening to the radio show last night it became apparent that Alvarado had came back from injury and he is an All ACC caliber play, that combined with a revamped offense from Josh Pastner makes Georgia Tech a team not to overlook, don’t make the same mistake I made people, don’t overlook the Yellow Jackets.

Alvarado is good and Dawes has had some bad turnovers. Hopefully he and all the Tigers can stay away from those tonight. A good fast start scoring and continued hot shooting wouldnt hurt either. In other words a repeat of BC

I'm not knocking the radio show but Clemson tell a tale of two seasons due to injuries even more so than Georgia Tech. Tigers come out with a win.

Consider them unoverlooked! Thanks for the info...***

Just like a lotta teams...

They can be really good at home and struggle mightily on the road.

Hopefully we find a way to win. GT does have some skilled big men that might be a concern along with Alvarado.

Going to come down to hitting a lot of 3s or missing a lot. Hopefully Hemenway is really on tonight vs the 3-2 zone to spur everyone else on...

This is a big let down spot for the tigers with FSU on deck at home Saturday. Hopefully we show up focused and take care of business. If we can sneak out a win tonight on the road and then somehow, someway take care of FSU we will be in great shape for post season

No reason to expect anything different

From overall record, to ACC record, to NET ranking these teams are essentially the same and the game is at GT. From an odds standpoint they are basically saying it's an even match-up.

If people were as good as their obituary - and products were as good as advertised - this would truly be a wonderful world !!

Everyone on the team left BC healthy to an extent, we only lost to ND cause Amir Simms was hurt, WF was the first big week of exams at Clemson, most of our guys had 3-4 exams that week and distraction was probably a factor.

Just to clarify, I'm a senior myself, I remembered that week. I'd have found a hard time balancing a basketball game on the road and all those exams. Brownell is very big in school first.
