He was unfairly ousted. Yeah his emails were crude but the ONLY difference between him and virtually everyone else in his position around the league is….he got caught.

Like to see them hire Tampa Bays OC. Being a QB he knows building the offensive line is a must. Can’t keep rushing for nothing and expect to pass 40 times a game

Agree unfairly ousted AND I’m a Raiders fan. But he is a mediocre .500 coach but good tv personality (to some).
But as I think about it, could be what they need. And I doubt any truly good coach would want to be a part of the filth in Jax. So a mediocre over rated coach might be the ticket if he comes cheap.

How was gruden unfairly ousted?
You guys .must remember that the nfl is overwhelming African Americans
If the leader of a team does or says something racially insensitive and alienates his players he can not be an effective leader.
Yes the cancel culture is bullspit but Gruden was the leader of men who looked like and belonged to the race of people he mocked

Would I have fired him if I had hired him as my coach? No. Because I never would have hired him in the first place.
But the owner wanted to keep him on. I would have enjoyed watching Davis trying to keep Gruden employed. Would have been fun ti watch. And maybe the players in the end would have been fine with it, maybe not. Players could have started a free agency boycott of the team etc.
On another topic, how in the heck is Danny Snyder still the de facto owner of the ###? That dude is a piece of #### and an embarrassment to the NFL. Must have awesome photos of Goodell.

I like Gruden and think he is a players coach. I do not think he is racist. Did he write offensive emails years ago? Yes. Did he get cancelled in today’s world for it? He did. Not going to argue if he should or shouldn’t have, but I can’t toss someone aside for emails from way back and that goes for any race emailing about anyone. He didn’t do anything in his player interactions to make him racist.

Racists lol. Never heard any of his players criticize Gruden for being a racists. It was not smart but I would love to see emails from both races where we can quit pretending a few people have issues. This is a heart problem in all races. A few BLM stickers, murals or stop hate logos are going to change a persons heart.

Yea he was great tv. I thought he had a good recipe brewing in Las Vegas. Get as many Bama and Clemson players as he could. Sounds brilliant to me.
