I get not bad mouthing the dead but some MAGA leaders want everyone to have “sufficient remorse” _ aka submission or conversion to the MAGA cult. Those that don’t undergo this transformation based on Kirk’s death are being branded as radical leftists and in many cases non-Christian.
Kirk was a partisan political operative. He didn’t deserve to be murdered. That should not be celebrated in any fashion. His murderer should be brought to justice. But at the same time, he was certainly no saint, and I will pass on embellished eulogies. Just because someone is ruthlessly murdered, it doesn’t make them right or righteous.
Everyone should extend condolences to Kirk’s family and friends and be respectful in his immediate aftermath. That is reasonable and civilized behavior. Asking or expecting anything more is not reasonable especially for those that do not support his politics. Linking Kirk to Christianity is a stretch, and I will also pass on that narrative.

I’m just saying I think you can make a legit argument that protections in place for the unborn is a good thing.
You could argue that certain immigration policies should be upheld.
You could argue that hiring based on qualities outside of who is best for the job is bad.
I’m not saying I agree or disagree with these ideas. I’m just saying that I think it’s ok to have debates.

Nope. If you wonder about the quality of your pilots after an airline makes a public proclamation about DEI hiring being their priority (instead of who is best qualified) you're a nazi. If you assert women behave differently if they are on the pill (and they do) then youre a nazi. If you contend that the unborn have rights you're a nazi. If you aren't for open borders which allow in millions of unvetted people you're a nazi. Etc etc etc.
You see once they decide you're a nazi then they can cheer your death and also call anyone who has a problem with their behavior nazis as well.
