how can you sit there and say everything about lsu is great, yet saban left lsu in a new york minute, only to go to alabama after a quick roll in the hay with the nfl. bet y'all feel real good every time y'all see him pacing the sidelines for an in-division conf. rival. talk about an cfb legend telling y'all what he thinks about lsu and all those so-called traditions and everything else you say is so great about lsu must be total BS!

First off, you can see my screen name on the site, so not sure why you had so much trouble spelling it.
Second, Saban's dream was to be an NFL coach. It was what he always wanted to do. He had an opportunity in Miami and took the job. I completely understand why.
Once he got there he realized, that it wasn't what he thought it would be. He couldn't make personnel decisions and didn't have nearly the control over the players. The Bama job opened up at the perfect time and he took it.
Saban has said that he regretted leaving LSU in the first place. He loved it here, but couldn't pass up the NFL job. The fact is that nobody would ever leave LSU except for an NFL job. ESPN even listed LSU as a top 10 job in football (both college and NFL) last week.
His leaving had nothing to do with his lack of love for the university. It had everything to do with him pursing his dream which turned out to be something different than he originally thought.
Saban is a great coach. The battles between him and Miles have developed into the best game in college football. Miles is 3-4 against Saban and has been the only coach to have a decent record against him.

lsu has been largely fabricated and 1-sided and so i figured i would give you a dose of what you have been dishing out. i don't get mad... we clemson fans on tiger-net are a little like an extended family, we can get mad at each other, and even disagree on things clemson related, but let an opposing fan come in and stir the pot, and we can rally behind one another and OUR tiger team ,to set things straight. and you, sir, are one of the opposing fans!

Don't forget that Les Miles was considering the Arkansas gig too!
I mean come on... who really considers Arkansas. Louisiana must suck.

Nick Saban actually still owns his house in Baton Rouge, is part owner in a retail development and it was just anounced today that his wife purchased a vacant site next to the development to expand it. It doesn't sound to me like they hate baton rouge too much.

Not an LSU fan, just an unbiased observer...
Yet you know about the Saban's real estate investments and nothing of Danny Ford.

Which does not mean that Gruden hates Tennessee. Subtle changes to the point of your argument does not win an argument, clemson fans.
