Derion Knedrick is about to become a 5 star and is clearly the best player in the state, yet the award goes to a guy Clemson didn't even condier recruiting as a QB.

But,somehow, Kendrick is not even on the short list.....Well, I guess next fall, all the South Carolina journalists will get to know him up close and personal...

It just provides more false hope and disappointment for the Coots. Individual awards are nice but watching USCjr constantly fail is the golden ticket.

potential success at the next level. Check out the list ... probably over 80% were basically never heard from in college and almost none ended up in the NFL.

It bears note however that the three-in-a-row that SCAR got in Stephon Gilmore, Marcus Lattimore, and Jadaveon Clowney pretty much prove to be the exception to the general rule.
