Why do we need so many?

It's not like we usually throw the ball to any of them.
We are clearly stockpiling blockers.

Coastal has 21 on their roster according to that same webpage. I know they lost a TE to the NFL draft but that's casting a pretty wide net to replace just 1 guy.

The blocking makes sense after the inept o-line play. Just to bad we can't have all 15 out there at once ??

Imagine if we had a handful of extra offensive linemen

Danny Ford always took four and often five in every recruiting class. We are lucky when Dabo gets three. Four is like a miracle.

... top ranked QB he would have another National Title or two.
Instead, he couldn’t land one and had to settle for mediocre QB talent behind those powerful offensive lines.
Dabo get the top ranked QBs ... And Dabo has twice as many National Titles and many more Top-4 finishes than Danny.
I’ll take Dabo over Danny even though I love what Coach Ford accomplished back in the day.

Danny was changing and he recruited top quarterbacks

Clearly you don’t know Clemson football as good as you think. It was also a different period and a different style of football. The ACC was also harder then than today and there was no playoffs
I simply made an observation about their handling of the offensive line.
But none of that changes the fact that you’re an idiot because we haven’t had a decent offensive line since Danny Ford and that has been the single biggest weakness under Dabo that he stubbornly refuses to fix.
So you can have your little feelings hurt because someone criticized Saint Dabo but it doesn’t fix the offensive line does it?
You Dabo worshipers are ridiculous and refuse to recognize that the man is not perfect his teams are not perfect and that there are legitimate things to criticize!

All Dabo does is win and all you do is try to minimize his achievements by criticizing an element of his program that obviously has not had nearly the negative impact you ascribe to it.
I don’t care if the OL doesn’t meet your standards. It does not matter.
What matters is winning football games.
Dabo has won a greater percentage of games and had far greater overall success than any coach in Clemson history.
Call him stubborn if you want. He does it his way. Just like Danny did.
And by the way, having a playoff makes it *harder* to finish in the Top-4, not easier.

Nothing wrong with that. I like to have a few tight ends on my roster to!
Seriously though, I’d love to see us use the tight ends like we did not so long ago. Jordan Leggett probably had the tools to be one of the best tight ends to ever play in the ACC.

The light for Jordan didn’t turn on until a little later in his college career.

Click the 15 on the site. It just lists a bunch of WRs, including many who aren’t here anymore. Weird mistake by 247
