If Clemson played Bama 10 Times...

I believe that Clemson would win 9 of those games.
We dominated 2 of the 3 phases of football last night and shows we stack up well against the Elephants. I also know that Sabans trickery would only win him one of those 10 games. The rest, his headset remains off and on the ground.

Exactly. Posts like this are embarrassing. Something coots would do. We had our chance. We lost. We didn't do the little things needed to beat a great team. Hopefully dabo learned from this. He knew the kickoff coverage lacked all year, and kept doing the same thing hoping it would change. It didn't, and cost us a national championship.

I don't think Dabo ignored the problems with the coverage. There were several mentions in the press during the season about players being moved to special teams, and additional practice time devoted to the problem.
Until, we get a REAL special teams coach, the problem will continue.

I never said dabo ignored the problems. I said he kept doing the same thing, hoping it would get better. We had the same scheme on kickoff coverage all year, and it got burned several times. Unfortunately, it cost us a national championship.

Just stop with the coulda/woulda/shoulda crap. It definately sounds cootish. No fan is more disappointed in the final outcome than me but the Tigers had their shot, played a hell of a game, and came up just short of the final goal, Bama won end of story, let it go.
Clemson will be back, Dabo has built the program to compete. Hopefully between now and then, Clemson can learn to play with more discipline than they did last night. STs, blown coverages, and missed assignments have been Clemson's biggest weakness the last couple of years and it cost the Tigers the NC Monday night. You simply can't make those kinda mistakes against a team like Bama and win the NC.
You have to be good in all 3 phases. It is a testiment to just how good the Tigers were in the other two phases of the game that they came as close as they did. That third phase and playing with discipline so you don't have the blown coverages/missed assignments is what has to be fixed for the Tigers.
Here's to the great season they had and to being in Tampa next season!!

The two teams are very evenly matched....

Looking at the match-up as objectively as possible, if the two teams played ten times, I believe the final record would be 5 - 5 maybe 6 - 4 depending upon who won the turnover battle.

Probably the stupidest post I've read in a long time. That being said, Clemson is on their way. You guys were def moving the ball at will and playing great defense. Dabo and the tigers will have a natty in the next three years. Clemson's special teams wasn't prepared and that was the only aspect where they lacked. Major props to Clemson. We had respect for you guys before the game and even more after. Roll Tide and Go Tigers
