and at least the Sweet 16 then I say yes. A one done in the ACC Tourney and first round exit in the NCAA Tournament and that ice he is standing should be like that scene from Frosty the Snowman when he enters the greenhouse. Personally, I think we make it to the ACC Championship Game and Sweet 16.

I see no reason he will not have a job if we finish with maybe a top 6 ACC record, win a tournament game and make the NCAA. Beating Duke is another story but everyone needs to be super excited if we do. Duke will have tons of fans at the game and they are Duke.

Clemson will be lucky if another school doesn't come steal him. Most Clemson fans are just starting to learn what a small majority of us already knew -- CBB can coach. The Lunatic Fringe needs to deal with it. Every day does not need to start with a post about his job security and what it will take blah, blah, blah. Let it play out. The team is on a roll. News Flash -- They will lose an ACC game, but I do not see this crowd going on any type of extended losing streak.

But if we get an NCAA invite, my guess is his job will be safe. My thinking is that any successful D1 bb coach must “usually” make the tourney to be considered successful.

Unless BB takes a swing at a Duke player or ref, or the entire team quits and walks off the court today I can’t imagine this one game deciding BB’s job security. The entire season, as well as the last 12 years, and future outlook, should be used to determine how much longer he should be coaching. So far this season things are looking positive for his job security.
