Jeff Sagarin's computer rankings are an absolute joke!

Say what you will about whether or not we are ranked too high or too low, to say that we're not even a top 25 team is ludacris!

Any poll that doesn't have us or FSU in their top 30 yet has Missouri as a top 25 team and Washington as a top 15 team needs to seriously be looked at. I don't care what you think of schedule strength, this poll here makes no sense whatsoever and the fact that it has a major impact on who plays in the BCS is really embarrassing!

Their 5 wins have been:

Colorado (1-9)
Illinois (2-8)
California (3-8)
Utah (4-6)
Norhtern Arizona (FCS)

What are you looking at? The Sagarin ratings released on Tnet have us at #22 and FSU at #16. Ridiculous yes, but not as bad as you make out.

The ELO chess ranking is used in the BCS formula. That ranking is not used.

As you can see from this link the elo chess rankings are what the BCS uses from Sagarin. They are the ones in red.

The ELO Chess. We are 31. Look at the teams that are ahead of us. Washington 6-4. Miss St. 6-3. Five and Five Iowa State. 6-4 Vandy. Five and Five Missouri.
