Sooo.. Who is this year's Kurt Flemming?

I know a lot of Tnetters thought he would be our short yardage mutant, unable to be tackled and de-cleating defenders with stern eye contact.

Obviously Kurt Flemming was lacking in critical areas,

but we had nobody else that was even close when it came to running over defenders. I don't know if we've got anybody quite like that this year.

Kinda wish we still had him

I remember him running over like 3 defenders on one play against scst last yr. If he stayed he probably would have moved to another position eventually but still it was nice seeing a RB who made you pay when he ran the ball, something we haven't seen in a very long time. It sucks bc i remember all of us getting really hyped about him joining the football team but he only lasted 3 games i think? Anyone know the story on why he left?

I had a class with him first semester. Sat next to him and only realized when he left. He was rarely in class and when he was, he snuck out after attendance was taken. So maybe academic, maybe he was just tired of Clemson.

Does Kurt still have any eligibility? If so, can we bring him back? He was the best RB we had last year. He just made too many mistakes. But - he was the ONLY RB that could run over people, and I enjoyed seeing that.

He didn't just run over defenders. He led with his shoulder and tackled them. It was fun to watch.

If he gets out of the coaches' doghouse. Students were allowed to watch the scrimmage Friday and he was taking the majority of runs for what appeared to be like a scout team. Did fairly well, too in my opinion. You couldn't really tell if he would be a real bruiser or anything because they were touch tackling.
