Any word on Tucker Israel?

I know he injured his foot back early in the season. I was just curious to know hows he been doing in practice, you never hear much talk about him. Anxious to see him play when the opportunity arises, because I know he was a good product coming out of high school.

Don't hear anything about how he's coming along after the injury.

He is the 4th string QB who is red shirting, the starter was a heisman finalist. You won't hear much for a while. He fully recovered from the injury and has been a signaler at almost every game.

I couldn't blame him if he transferred to get some PT

The next few years in TigerTown are pretty much booked up at QB...

I'd love to see Tucker transfer to Georgia Southern right now.

I absolutely agree with you. His feet are golden - his arm and decision making are not up to speed yet.
I do believe - if Tucker stays - that he could be one of the most important non-starters we will ever have. At some point in the next couple of years (during our run at championships)- we will have an injury (hopefully well after Watson is gone) - and we will need a passer (like Ohio State last year) - and instead of "hoping" a guy like Schussler (I know would be gone) - or Bryant (still questionable passing threat) - Tucker will be called upon and drives the team. In today's world - you must have a good solid backup - not a placeholder. JMO anyway. I hope he stays.

hadn't seen it because hardly any pass plays have been called when he has gotten in....

Israel needs to get a lot more velocity on his passes, from what he showed in spring practice. Coaches have already stated Bryant is now the number 2 QB. So they have seen something in practice to promote him from 3 to 2.

I still think that Bryant may make a better WR than QB

because of his running ability after the catch. Wobbly arm is not what future NFL quarterbacks are made of & he could translate into a player similar to cousin Martavis.

He won't be a starter here, too much talent ahead of him.***
