GU was an aggressive, good, athletic basketball team, and at their home. And they have guys who can shoot. Tigers held their own after falling behind against experienced guard play. Tigers played them closer than any other quality opponent they have played thus far, even better than #9 Kentucky.
This was a good test for Brad's new players on the road. It lets the coaches and the team know what they need to focus and work on.
I believe this new Tiger team will get better as the season progresses.
Go Tigers!

Exactly which one of those did you confuse with Kentucky?

Idiotic to confuse practice with a real game. Anything to try and boost the Brads buddies fan club.

It was a game though and not just practice. Both teams played to win.

Yeah and how would you know the parameters of a exhibition game that meant nothing?

You clearly should seek help for your mental issues. Trying to pretend that a team we lost to - beat Kentucky in a real game when it was simply an exhibition game. Nobody cares who wins exhibitions. According to another poster, Kentucky played without a point guard and backup point guard. But who cares? I guarantee nobody at Kentucky cares about losing an exhibition. Nor Georgetown for that matter. But by extension - you do. Strange.
Your absolute love of Being a brads buddies member really has deteriorated your mind.
You have such an inferiority complex. Nobody said Georgetown was a bad team. The OP tried to build them up with a lie. And you try to justify the lie. I like that we actually played a non cupcake. I hope Georgetown is very good. That said, they have not been good for many years. One data point does not mean much. Either way.

and is a good basketball team. No one "lied" about anything. And you don't even know me.
If you actually watched the basketball game, you would have known that they have talent, and are playing good ball right now.

and leave with a 14 point win, exhibition or not. That game was just played 2 weeks ago. GU shot around 55% from the floor. Go look it up. They also beat Maryland pretty handily.
Did you even watch the basketball game? It was very evident from anyone who knows ball that Georgetown was tall, fast, and a very athletic team. They were also very aggressive on defense.
It was a good early test for the Tigers.

UK had just beaten Purdue by double digits and played to win the game against the Hoyas.. just got outplayed.
However, I will add an important caveat... The Wildcats were without their starting PG and backup PG... Leaving them without an actual floor leader for the game... And who are also their best on ball defenders. They look entirely different without those guys... Lowe and Aberdeen.

Yep, I watched that Kentucky exhibition win in Lexington on the SECN. They are a good team.
A lot of you might remember the game with a good Boise State team in Boise the same weekend last year in November. That made that team better, and this game will do the same. Link:
