That Masters was the best Masters of all time.

That was the most iconic moment in golf history I would think after Tiger tapped in. That was nuts. Definitely didn't waste time watching that.

Better if Brooks K would of made his birdie put on 18, forced a playoff w. Woods, then won his first G.J

I had 50 dollars to win 1000 on Koepka. I am glad Tiger won though now after I saw that scene.

If you're a little older...it might would be Jack's win in 86. But it's hard to argue your statement.

As a father, the reaction of his kids said it all.

Yeah that was cool his kids could see him do that. They weren't around for his other titles.

I think I know but you might have to clarify with Jack or Tiger. Jack had his son on the bag in 86, so both were nice father son moments to watch.

More exciting than sudden death playoffs?

It was over on the 17th fairway.
I think not.
Ask Larry Mize.

Definitely more energy at the end and a way bigger scene and bigger moment today.

it is hard to understand why he remains so popular. I admire his greatness as a golfer, but there are others I would rather see win.

I think generally he is associated as the greatest by many and people wanted to see if he can do it again. So today was special. He also changed the game. There are millions of more golfers around the world today because of Tiger. Random people that have never played also know Tiger. People that don't even follow closely know who Tiger is. They don't even know great players like Justin Thomas or Jon Rahm are. Tiger is a household name and people like a comeback story. Personally, I wanted Koepka to win because I bet on him.

You don't think that life has humbled him?
I know there are numerous fine young men who are great husbands, dads and golfers, and I prefer to root for them, but a Tiger at the top of his game is good for golf.
He used to be an occasionally obnoxious punk who played great golf, but he has always been a great student of the game , and I never recall him being disrespectful to another player like Patrick Reed can be.
I wouldn't go so far as to say that God has humbled Tiger like Nebuchadnezzar in the Bible--if so, Tiger would give testimony of it--but I think that life has.

Mine would be, in order:
Apr 15, 2019, 10:23 AM
|
|
1986: Jack Nicklaus wins at 46. This win defied all comprehension, still does. Never poke the Bear.
2019: Tiger Woods wins after all the back and knee surgeries at 43. 'Nuff said.
1997: Tiger Woods dominates for his first Green Jacket with a new all time scoring record.
2004: Phil finally gets the Major monkey off his back.
1995: Ben Crenshaw wins his second Masters with a heavy heart over the death of his lifetime instructor, Harvey Pennick. Again, nothing in the run up to the tournament would have led anyone to think he would win, just like Nicklaus in 1986.
As you can see by my list, I am a sucker for golf history.

It's always difficult to quantify these things, and I'll admit my bias, because I've always disliked Woods.
However, from my watching days, I'd certainly place 1975, 1986, and 1989.
