that we won't miss great players like Tajh Boyd or Sammy Watkins, but to assume that other good players won't successfully step up fill the void or that we can't be as good without them is asinine.
####, good football programs lose great players almost every year, but they are still successful year after year. Bama lost a some great players, but they are still highly ranked, because they are well coached and they recruit so well and just reload. Same can be said of Ohio State, LSU, Oregon, etc.. We have one of the best coaching staffs in the country, and we have recruited with the best of them over the past few years, and there is no reason to think that we aren't in the same boat now. In fact, there's every reason to think we are in that boat.

it also feeds the devil's advocate side.
what can happen when a lifetime "experienced backup" replaces a record breaking QB.
i like yours better and we shall see soon enough.

1. You cant lose your teams most prolific QB and expect to pick up where you left off. ex. C. Shaw to D. thomson.
2. You can lose your teams most prolific QB and it doesn't matter, you will still be just as good. ex. Manziel to Hill
3. You can do anything you want on Offense if your line is 10 times better than the opponents Dline.
4. One weak link in the secondary can keep a team in the game until late in the 3rd qtr.
5. Maria Taylor will not be with the SEC Network long. She seems really good at was she does, and seems to enjoy it. And she is hot. Expect her to be hosting Fox NFL Sunday in the next few years.
6. We play in the Southeastern Conference Conference, C. Shaw is a scrub, the ##### play in Brice Williams stadium, those are all compliments of Musburger. Cant believe he said that about Shaw during a SC broadcast.

Yeah, I was surprised on the Shaw comment, too.

And all the love being tossed at Ward while his defense was being annihilated.
