So last night my Mom shoot’s that huge buck but there is no blood in the field. Dad went in to look and jumped him up so we waited a few hours and came back to look last night. I found a blood trail, a small quarter sized piece of bone, maybe 8-10 drops every 5-10 feet as he pulsed. Tracked him over 100 yards and bumped him again so we decided it was best to let him lay the night and find this morning. Huge animal and the coyotes had gotten to the whole back half. Found him a few hundred more yards down in a ravine.

Brother got the smaller one this morning. Still 4 of us with a tag and 6 more watches.

Yes Missouri, still 3 of us left with tags and we fly out weds afternoon. At this point I’m shooting any nice like 3.5 Years old. I passed on two of those opening day bc I don’t want to just be done w a small buck every year. But now w 4 sits left I won’t let those walk.

My grandmother was born in a log cabin (that’s gone now) on one of the pieces . 220 acres total. It’s not guided but basically is bc we have permanent metal two person stands up and we have a small house here w garages.

Dad comes a few times a year during the off season to mow w tractor, plant food plots, cut trees etc. Change batteries in trail cameras.
